We have professional industrial designers that have put years into refining their sketching capabilities so you don’t have to worry about drawing. This, in conjunction with their creative ability to brainstorm alternative solutions, is how they design products and refine your idea down to the absolute best solution. They’ll not only add style but consider all user interactions to make sure your product works well.
With the end of the design process comes a solid, fleshed out product concept that is ready to move to the next stage. Final sketches and sketch renderings can be used in patent applications, investment presentations, and given to our engineers for the next phase of development. These sketches can include shading, coloring, descriptions, multiple views, angles and alternative concepts.
IID work with major companies to produce sketches of your new product or idea. IID will produce 3D solid models to represent your new products.

Rapid Prototyping

IDD offers complete prototyping services including, 3D printing (Metal/Resins), SLA, SLS, Sheet-metal, CNC machining and urethane casting prototypes. Functional and presentation prototypes models are available within five business days or less.

Functional Prototypes Making Sure It Fits In the fast-paced world of prototyping, three-dimensional computer graphics are not enough to guarantee that your design will meet your specifications and expectations. At IID, we make it possible to turn your 3-D CAD design into a fully-detailed, functional prototype part that approximates the fit, function and operation of production materials. We produce rapid prototypes with properties similar to injection molded plastic; a part can be assembled, manipulated, even made to function with mechanical assemblies and electrical components. IID builds functional models that will verify your parts -- fit, operation, design, and performance under actual working conditions. Our functional prototypes withstand heat, chemicals, and harsh environments.

Reverse Engineering
What is Reverse Engineering?
Reverse Engineering is the process of measuring a part using data captured by our 3D scanning systems, we can reverse engineer components and products for further engineering and / or re-manufacture of existing parts by creating a CAD model to reflect how it was originally designed.

We can input and output data in most industry used formats including:
.stl, .iges, .step, .asc, .xyz, .txt, .ply, .obj, .3ds, .wrl, .x_t
We have specialized software from a variety of manufacturers including: Creo, SolidWorks, Rhino CAD, and Delcam. We can transfer parametric models to the following CAD programs:
